How Canopy works

Your home, finally explained.

Know your home like the day you bought it. A partner hands Canopy over at closing, the homeowner keeps it, and Myles answers for the house.

  1. 1

A partner brings Canopy to the closing.

Builders, agents, title companies and lenders work with us to hand Canopy to their buyers. There is nothing for the partner to run day to day.

  2. 2

Your home’s paperwork, finally in one place.

They sign in to Canopy and find a Vault for the house, organized into Essentials (deed, title policy, homeowners insurance, Closing Disclosure), Protection (warranties) and the rest of the home’s records.

  3. 3

    The Vault fills in.

The homeowner adds closing documents first, then insurance, warranties and anything else that matters, and the Essentials ring shows what is still missing.

  4. 4

    Just ask Myles.

The homeowner asks a question and Myles answers from that home’s own records. “Is the water heater still under warranty?” gets an answer from the warranty on file, not a guess.

What the homeowner sees
  • Home: the house at a glance.
  • The Vault: Snap it, store it, find it in seconds.
  • Myles: questions about the house, answered from its records.
  • Pros: the people who work on the house.
  • Value: an estimated value range for the home.

Hand over the home.

Tell us who you are and we will show you where Canopy fits.
